The Friends Cast Reimagined As Seniors

For a decade, Rachel, Ross, Monica, Phoebe, Joey and Chandler entertained fans as they went through every possible life experience imaginable on Friends. We saw the main Friends characters grow from being in their 20s to ending the series in their mid-30s. We saw them fall in love, get married, deal with heartbreak and divorce, get jobs and lose jobs, and even have kids. What we haven’t seen yet is the Friends cast as elderly, senior citizens. Even in Friends: The Reunion, the actors were only in their 50s.

Using AI artistry, we reimagined the Friends cast as seniors or someone who is older than 62, and the results were pretty great. Friends really taught viewers how important it is to hold on to true friends when you find someone who will “be there for you.” So, without a doubt, the Friends group would still be super close in their elder years and probably still dealing with all sorts of drama.

8 Friends’ Monica Geller As An Old Lady In AI Art

Courteney Cox started playing Monica Geller on Friends when she was 30 years old. Throughout its 10 seasons, viewers saw Monica go through a lot of ups and downs, but by the end of the series, Monica and Chandler had been married, adopted twins and moved off into the suburbs to provide a great life for the family.

Friends‘ Monica Geller as an elderly woman looks like she would be one of those “cool” grandmas, and though she was often neurotic and bossy during the series, her caring and kind side would come out more with age.

7 Friends’ Chandler Bing Reimagined By AI As A Senior

When Friends ended in 2004, Matthew Perry was 34 years old, and even though he was dealing with personal struggles of substance abuse most of the time he filmed the series, Perry will always be remembered for playing Chandler Bing. Chandler was the quick-witted and zany friend of the group. And despite his commitment issues, Chandler does end up married and happy with Monica and their twins.

Senior Chandler Bing, reimagined by AI, definitely gives off some wise old man vibes. When asked what he thinks Chandler would be doing after Friends, Matthew Perry shared he “would be a wonderful father and a wonderful comedy writer.”

6 Friends’ Rachel Green As An Elderly Woman

It’s hard to imagine Jennifer Aniston as a senior citizen, given that her appearance has hardly aged over the years, but with this AI art version of Friends‘ Rachel Green, we can get a little idea of what could happen. Rachel Green has always been the “stylish” friend; she’s caring and fun, but she’s also vain and spoiled. In that final episode of Friends, Rachel receives a job offer in Paris, but after one classic “airport kiss” scene and a heartbreaking goodbye, she still gets on the plane… but then she gets off.

After Friends, Rachel likely continued her fashion career and probably went on to start her own clothing line, living in the Upper East Side of New York City, hopefully with Ross and their daughter Emma.

David Schwimmer played Friends‘ Ross Geller, the clumsy, sometimes socially awkward but always sweet-natured older brother of Monica Geller until was 37 years old. Ross started the series working as a paleontologist working at the Museum of Natural History but went on to become a professor at NYU.

Schwimmer’s Ross gave us Friends iconic “will they or won’t they” relationship in his back and forth with Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel Geller. Even Ross’ final moments on Friends, didn’t give fans any kind of definitive answer on the relationship. Ross Geller reimagined as an old man by AI art is something to admire. His wise eyes are still welcoming fans (and hopefully still Rachel) into his heart.

4 What Friends’ Phoebe Buffay Would Look Like As A Senior Citizen

Lisa Kudrow was the oldest cast member on Friends, beginning the series at 31 years old. Now at 60-years-old, Kudrow reflects on what it was like to play Phoebe Buffay for 10 years with not the happiest sentiment. She has come forward saying she often felt very insecure about her body during this time and that it had a negative impact on her self-confidence and body image.

However, Lisa Kudrow now, in real life, and even as an AI-generated version of Phoebe Buffay as a senior, looks great. For Phoebe Buffay, who was cheerful, eccentric and generous despite her traumatic past, Friends ended with her finding some stability in her marriage with Mike Hannigan.q

3 Friends’ Joey Tribbiani Reimagined As An Old Man By AI Art

Joey Tribbiani, played by Matt LeBlanc, was the most loyal friend in the Friends group and is often admired as the friend that held the group together. Though the character was not always the brightest one of the bunch, Joey Tribbiani was sweet, funny and compassionate. LeBlanc’s Friends character was given a short-lived spin-off series, showing Joey living in L.A., which gives us a little bit of an idea of the direction Joey’s life took after Friends.

Using AI artistry, we created a version of Joey Tribbiani as a senior, and he looks tough. Matt LeBlanc believes that Joey would have ended up opening his own chain of sandwich shops in his older years.

Paul Rudd didn’t join the Friends cast until season 9 in 2002, but his role was an important one marrying Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay giving her the happy ending fans wanted to see. The series ends with Mike and Phoebe talking about plans for the future.

Paul Rudd is another on of those celebrities people swear don’t age, but our AI-generated version of an elderly Paul Rudd has finally shown us what a gray-haired stud he’ll be in his elder years.

1 This Is What Cole Sprouse’s Friends Character, Ben Geller Would Look Like A An Old Man

Cole Sprouse, popularly known for his time on Disney and on Riverdale, joined Friends during the 6th season as Ben Geller, Ross’ son, when he was 7 years old. Viewers learned about Ross Geller’s first child during season 1, but the character only appeared a handful of times throughout the show’s 10 seasons. Cole Sprouse’s performance as Ben won the audience over until his last appearance in season 8.

Cole Sprouse’s elderly man AI-generated art shares an uncanny resemblance to actor Christopher Walken. While it isn’t definitively known what happened to Ben Geller after his disappearance from Friends, we can only hope he and Ross maintained a relationship well into their old age.
